Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to shine a light on awesome moms in the East Haven area. Meet Tanisha Peryer!
EAST HAVEN, CT — Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.
This submission comes from Joe Peryer, who nominated Tanisha Peryer of East Haven.
What makes your Mom extra special?
Tanisha works full-time, has gone back to school at Gateway, all while helping make sure our 2 beautiful children, and me are always cared for. She's an active dance mom on the weekends and no matter how busy the day gets or how much needs to get done, she handles everything she does with grace and care.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Tanisha has overcome so much adversity over the years, and her perseverance has led her to being the best mom a father or child could ever hope for! She is the exact role model our young daughter and even son are lucky to have.
