East Haven Fire Department Welcomes 2 New Firefighter-Paramedics

After spending the last 15 weeks learning the job and graduating from the Connecticut State Fire Academy, they'll soon start on shift.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Fire Department welcomed its two newest members Friday.

Firefighter/Paramedic Jack Mascari and Firefighter/Paramedic Charles Ushchak graduated from the Connecticut State Fire Academy today.

Both members spent the last 15 weeks learning the job and will soon start on shift, where they will continue to grow as firefighters," East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 noted on Facebook.
