East Haven Mom Is 'The Mom That Every Kid Dreams Of'

EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is special, and in so many ways. She means so much to me, more than words can explain. She’s the mom that every kid dreams of. She is the most beautiful and loving woman you will ever meet. If you need someone she is there. If you are in trouble, she is there. There is not one time that I needed her that she wasn’t there. My mom is the best mom, but not like other kids say their moms are. My mother does everything. She’s my best friend and my biggest supporter. She’s always at my games, there’s not one single game she wasn’t there. She’s always cheering me on, and pushing me to be the best version of myself. She is truly the woman I want to be. There couldn’t be a better role model than her.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because she is so strong and outgoing. She does so much for me, and for our family. It’s not easy being a mom of 3, but she makes it look like the easiest thing ever. She makes sure every one of her kids has what they want, and they are happy. She puts all of us before her. She has come to every activity, whether it was a game or a field trip. You can count on her to be at everything. She deserves the world because truly this woman is the best mom.
