EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is a front-line worker, who is dedicated not only to her job but to the four kids she comes home to every night. Dawn has never missed any of her kids' performances or sports games. Dawn is the most loving and caring to everyone she meets! She especially loves being able to take the stage with her two daughters!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Dawn is loving, caring and the most considerate person you’ll ever meet.
