East Haven Police, DEA Investigation Leads To Drug Factory Charge: PD

Michae​l Glenn, a 38-year-old East Haven man, has been charged with operating a drug factory among other related charges, police said.

EAST HAVEN, CT —This month, working with the DEA, East Haven police began an investigation into drug sales in town.

As a result of this investigation, a 38-year-old East Haven man has been charged with operating a drug factory in town, police wrote on social media.

A search and seizure warrant for Michael Glenn's residence at 1309 North High St., was executed Monday and "narcotics, the makings of a drug factory, a large amount of cash, and a SIG Sauer P320 handgun were seized," police wrote.

Glenn was charged with sales of narcotics, operating a drug factory, improper storage of a firearm, and two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell. He was taken into custody without incident, taken to police headquarters, booked and held on a $200,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in court Dec. 6.

"Let us be extremely clear," the post reads. "The East Haven Police Department is committed to the collaborative effort to disrupt the sales of narcotics in our community. We will continue to work with other law enforcement agencies, both local and federal, to enhance the scope and effectiveness of our efforts against illicit narcotics sales, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach."
