East Haven Police Officer Reads to Momauguin, Deer Run Students

EAST HAVEN, CT - Police Officer Dave Torello spent some of his time last week reading to students at Momauguin and Deer Run schools during the annual Read Across America program.

The police department's Facebook page said: "Officer Dave had a great time reading Dr. Seuss books and talking to the kids about safety, and then answered any questions they had about police work."

Officer Dave also handed out badge stickers to the kids, a police officer coloring book page, and safety tips page to all the kids in the classrooms he visited.

The Facebook page adds: "We hope the students had as good a time as Officer Dave did reading to them!"
