The East Haven Police has added new officer recruits to the department's ranks.The three new members are: <ul><li>Nezar Belhna </li><li>Luke Rasile </li><li>Dylan Northrop</li></ul> "All three recruits are highly qualified and the department is pleased to have them," Lt. David Emerman, the department's public information officer, stated in a press release announcing the new hires. The Board of Police Commissioners appointed the new officer recruits during a special meeting on Dec. 17. Belhna and Rasile will begin academy training Jan. 3 at the Police Academy in Meriden, Emerman said.Emerman added that Northrop will begin his officer training as soon as a position at the training academy becomes available.
