East Haven Schools to Hire Former Finance Manager as Consultant
East Haven School District brings in a former employee to get the office back on track.

East Haven School District hires Patricia Lewis, who previously retired as finance manager for the district back in February, to begin consulting work, according to the New Haven Register. She will be paid $375.13 per day starting on May 18.
Lewis is being brought in for a total of eight weeks to assist Jim Farrell, the new business manager who started working on May 4, the Register reported. She will help Farrell transition into his new role, which includes some of her former responsibilities.
Lewis’ total estimated cost of employment is $7,500, and she cannot work more than 19.5 hours a week without risking the loss of her pension benefits, because of her retirement status.
