EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mother is the most considerate, patient, loving, caring, nurturing woman I know. I strive to be more like my mom every day. She runs her own business, and has worked so hard her whole life. She is truly too good, in all the best ways possible. She’s like a community mom. If you were a kid at our house growing up, you called her momma Davis. She is now known by her grand babies as Nana ❤️ and continues to be a wonderful woman in all our lives.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She works so hard, and is never given enough appreciation. She deserves a public appreciation!
