"It is with sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of former Fire Chief George Hennessey. Chief Hennessey was appointed as a firefighter January 16, 1961. He rose through the ranks as Battalion Chief, Fire Marshal and Chief. He retired on July 6, 1992. RIP Chief"
