East Haven Mom Is Daughter's 'Biggest Cheerleader & Support System'

EAST HAVEN, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

What makes my mom extra special is she is kind, loving [and] always there for me all the time . She is my biggest cheerleader and support system … She loves me with her whole heart and always gives me the best advice .She makes me laugh, and we always have the best conversations. I love making awesome memories with my mom, and love going on adventures with her. I can’t thank my mom enough for all she does for me — I love her so much. Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom in the whole world…

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My Mom deserves to be in the spotlight because she has been through so much and she never let that get in the way of her raising me or taking care of me. She’s the best role model any girl can ask for. My Mom is very special to me, and I hope she knows just how much she means to me.
