Obituary: Antoinette “Ann” Recardo Parisi, 98, of East Haven

Homemaker Club co-founder and Red Cross, St. Raphael and voter registration volunteer, she worked for the Board of Education for many years.

Antoinette “Ann” Recardo Parisi, 98, of East Haven passed away November 6, 2023 in CT Hospice. Wife of the late Angelo Parisi. Beloved mother of Mark (Geraldine) Parisi of Branford, Gary Parisi of East Haven and the late Lois Jean Parisi Carrano. Loving grandmother of Valeria Ann Carrano and her husband Francesco of Italy. Sister of Florence Cusano of Branford and the late John Recardo. Mother-in-law of Anthony "Tony" Carrano of Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and her caregiver and dear friend Michael Torre. Ann was born in New Haven on July 7, 1925 a daughter of the late Antonio and Louise Esposito Recardo.

Prior to her retirement she worked for the East Haven Board of Education for many years. She also was co-founder of the Homemaker Club in East Haven and was a volunteer for the Red Cross, St. Raphael’s Hospital and Voter registration in East Haven.

Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Tuesday morning at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call TUESDAY MORNING from 9:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice at www.hospice.com.
