Obituary: Diann Streeter, 65, of East Haven

Diann Streeter, 65, of East Haven, passed away Monday November 20, 2023, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Diann was born in New Haven on June 25th, 1958, to the late Donald and Phyllis (Sorvillo) Streeter. She enjoyed knitting and reading, regularly visiting the library. She loved listening to country music and could tell you anything you wanted to know about the New York Yankees. She took great pleasure in making phone calls to her family, recounting past events that had occurred on that day in the history of their lives. Whether it was a humorous anecdote, a significant milestone or a cherished memory. Diann worked for many years at Beasley Realty until partially retiring as crossing guard for the East Haven school district.

Diann is survived by her brothers Steven and William Streeter and late brother Thomas (Joyce) Streeter. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Ramona Schwarzer her nephews Steven, Mark (Marianne), Thomas (Tammy) and Joseph Streeter and her niece Felicia (William) Larson; great-nieces Alexis, Madison, Marissa, Makenzi, Lillian, Maesion, Taylor and a great-nephews Odin, Tyler and Joseph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Diann Saturday December 2nd at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Pompeii Church (St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish) 355 Foxon Road East Haven. Burial will follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
