Obituary: James Theriault (Porto Funeral Homes)

Porto Funeral Homes

James Theriault, age 57, passed away on January 9th, now finally at rest. Born on September 12, 1968, in New Haven, Connecticut, James is survived by his doting Aunt Joanne Petrosino, his uncle, Dominic Pagano, the love of his life, Linda M. Alfano, and his beloved daughters, Savanna K. Alfano and Linda L. Alfano, who were the light of his life. He is reunited in peace with his late mother, Linda Lee Pagano, and with his grandmother, Lucy Pagano. An avid adrenaline junkie, James was happiest with a motor beneath him—whether on snowmobiles, quads, cars, or motorcycles. He had a fearless spirit and a deep love for adventure. One of his greatest joys was spending time with family and friends making memories that will be cherished forever. James was known for his strength, humor, and magnetic presence. He was the life of the party, quick with a laugh, and a true romantic at heart. After a lifetime marked by both hardship and love, James is now finally at peace, held once more in the arms of his mother and grandmother.

Family and friends may call at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven on Wednesday, January 21, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and are also invited to a Graveside Service at St. Lawrence Cemetery in West Haven at 11:30. All who wish to attend and honor James’s life are welcome. James will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gaylord Hospital for traumatic brain injury. Sign James's guest book online at www.portofuneralhomes.net.
