Patch Candidate Profile: Mark Christman, East Haven Town Council

EAST HAVEN, CT —The 2023 municipal election is heating up in East Haven and there are plenty of local races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

East Haven Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as Election Day draws near.

Republican Mark Christman, 58, of East Haven, is seeking election to the Town Council, District 4.

To make East Haven a better town to live in

Quality of life issues, speeding and noisy vehicles as well as unkept properties. I want to start a campaign of awareness how others action affect their neighbors

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Other candidates want to do everything for the people I want the people to do for themselves and not look for a handout

Not focused quality of life issues
