Pick-Up Sideswipes Fire Truck On Service Call, Leaves Scene: Police
A pick-up, believed to be a Ford F-150, struck the East Haven Fire Department Rescue 1 truck while it was on a Forbes Place service call: PD

EAST HAVEN, CT — Early Tuesday evening, the East Haven Fire Department was responding to a call on Forbes Place when a white pickup truck sideswiped a fire truck with personnel inside and left the scene, police said,
It was around 5:25 p.m., when the truck, believed to be a Ford F-150, struck the Rescue 1 truck, housed at fire Company 1 on Main Street, according to police Capt. Joseph M. Murgo.
No injuries were reported and damage to the truck was minor, Murgo said.

The vehicle responsible for the incident has not yet been located, police noted.
