Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven Needs Volunteers

The Trolley Museum is Looking for volunteers to help out with its many diverse programs for young and old at its East Haven location.

EAST HAVEN, CT - The Shore Line Trolley Museum is in need of volunteers to be part of its Speaker's Bureau. As a volunteer, you'll speak not only on the museum's background but also on how the trolley system shaped Connecticut and was the state's first "green" mode of transportation.

Audiences are diverse, ranging from school-age children to seniors (many of whom still remember the trolleys) to rail fans, either on-site and at remote locations.

Volunteers will be matched with audiences you are comfortable with an.d you'll be provided with material needed for your audiences.

If this sounds good to you, come to one of our open houses - the first will be held on Thursday, February 15th from 6-8 p.m.; the second on Saturday, February 17th from 10 a.m. to noon. Both will be held at the Sprague Visitors Centers at 17 River Street.
