Suspect In Tuesday Morning Citizens Bank Robbery On The Run: Police
East Haven Police Capt. Joseph M. Murgo said the suspect fled the bank eastbound on River Street with an undisclosed amount of money.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Police Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying the pictured individual, who is responsible for robbing Citizen's Bank, 263 Hemingway Ave., East Haven, at approximately 10:34 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect, described as a stocky white or Hispanic male, with a gray beard wearing a baseball cap, gray and black fleece type jacket —possibly Columbia or North Face —, dark-colored pants or sweats, possibly Adidas, and light shoes entered the bank, passed along a note, and implied he had a weapon.

The suspect fled the bank eastbound on River Street with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone who recognizes this individual or has him captured on their video surveillance systems is asked to contact the East Haven Police Department at 203-468-3820.
There were no reported injuries during this incident.
