Harvey Gilbride, 77, passed away on Jan. 21, 2025, a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the U.S.S. Fox during Vietnam, an electrician with IBEW Local 90 who worked throughout New Haven County and Connecticut's nuclear power plants, and a man who took pride in his work, his service, and his family.

Marie Criscuolo Criscio, 84, passed away on Jan. 24, 2025, a 1959 Wilbur Cross High School graduate who devoted her life to her family.

Edward J. Peterson (Sgt. ret. EHPD), 83, passed away on Jan. 17, 2025, an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War who served 38 years with the East Haven Police Department and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #11245.

Diane Marie Lepper, 71, passed away on Jan. 8, 2025, a dedicated social worker and counselor who spent her career helping others, a Home Depot employee, a criminal justice master's graduate, an advocate for animal rescue who cared for many dogs, and a devoted sister, aunt, and dog owner to her beloved Teddy.

Thomas J. “Tommy” Zachey, 53, passed away on Jan. 8, 2025, a dedicated employee of The Schick Corporation (Edgewell Personal Care), a skilled builder and jack of all trades who enjoyed playing video games, building computers, riding motorcycles, flying drones, making wine, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time at home with his family.

Clement J. “Juney” Laurello Jr., 92, passed away on Jan. 3, 2025, having served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War before working as a manager for Gulf Oil, and was a dedicated fan of horse racing, the NY Giants, and UConn basketball, known for his daily neighborhood walks with a smile and a pocket full of dog treats.

Charles W. G. Talmadge, III, 70, died on Jan. 25, 2025, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, a skilled diesel mechanic known for his work at Cherry Hill Construction and his passion for boating, history, and the White Mountains, survived by his daughters, grandsons, siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

Ernest M. Votto, 105, passed away on Jan 2, 2025, after a career as a sales executive with Dun and Bradstreet, a 40-year involvement with the Boy Scouts of America, and later spending time at Page's Sports, where he enjoyed sharpening skates and mending mitts, all while maintaining a passion for airplanes, flying, and staying active in his community.

John S. LaFogg, Jr., 73, passed away on Jan 27, 2025, after a career as a tool and die maker at Energizer, and in retirement, enjoyed woodworking, traveling, watching Boston Red Sox games, and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
