Weather

The weather today is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 69 and low temperatures around 52 degrees.  Have you had trouble finding your favorite weather website? Patch favors the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA.org, which is closed temporarily due to the government shutdown. 

What To Do...

There's always something to do at the East Haven Senior Center.  Today at 1 pm there's line dancing!  

Town boards and commission meetings include: the Water Pollution Control Commission meets tonight at 7pm at Town Hall as does the School Building Committee - same time, same facility. 

Events

At 6pm there's a fundraiser for the Jack Stacey campaign at Anastasio's Steakhouse, 640-656 Silver Sands Road. There is a lobster and steak dinner and reception with wine and beer. Coming Soon

The Old Stone Church Rummage Sale is a three day event: October 17 from 6-9 pm; October 18 from 9am to 3pm and again at 6-9 p.m; and October 19, from 9am to noon. The sale takes place in the church gym and features gently used clothing and accessories for men, women and children, shoes, purses, hats, bed and table linens, curtains, drapes, small household items, knick-knacks, books, toys and other items will be offered for sale.
