40 Years of Service: Ellington Honors Longtime Town Employees

Ellington honored two municipal employees who worked for the town for 40 years, as well as others who worked for 25 and 10 years.

A group of Ellington employees were recognized Monday for giving between 10 and 40 years of service to the town.

Just before the start of the Board of Selectmen meeting, First Selectman Maurice Blancette conducted the 26th Annual Town of Ellington Employee Recognition Program, recognizing six employees who each worked for period of 10, 20 and 25 as municipal workers.
 
The recipients were as follows:

10 Years of Service
Kristin Michaud, Administrative Secretary II
Susan Luginbuhl, Registrar of Voters

25 Years of Service
Lori Smith, Administrative Assistant II

Special Recognition - 40 Years of Service
Jack Rich, Assistant Working Foreman
Robert Willis, Working Foreman.
