Bicyclist Sustains Serious Injuries After Colliding With Parked Car In Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — A bicyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a parked car on Egypt Road Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 70 block of Egypt, near the Somers town line. The LifeStar helicopter was dispatched to the scene, state police said.

Egypt Road was closed as an investigation unfolded, state police said.
