Ellington Hires New Human Resources Director, Town Officials Say
The new director of human resources has more than 15 years of leadership experience, according to town officials.
ELLINGTON, CT — Town officials announced Wednesday that Rebecca Gritti has been hired as Ellington’s new Human Resources Director.
First Selectman Laurie Burstein and Town Administrator Matthew Reed said Gritti brings more than 15 years of human resources leadership and organizational development experience.
Gritti holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Western New England University. Officials said she stood out during the interview process for her skills, professionalism, and approach to building positive workplace cultures.

“I am thrilled to have Rebecca as our new Human Resources Director,” Burstein said in a statement.

Gritti said she looks forward to supporting town employees and strengthening communication across the organization.
