American International College, Springfield MA

• Seven area students earned places on the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. These full-time students have attained GPAs ranging from 3.3 to 4.0. They are Daniel Fraher of Somers, majoring in digital media production; Tess Histen of Ellington, majoring in international studies; Thomas Lafayette of Somers, majoring in accounting; Jack Lomot of Ellington, majoring in sports and recreation management; Mallory Murdza of Somers, majoring in nursing; Concetta Shewokis of Somers, majoring in nursing; and Alyssa Stetson of Ellington, majoring in psychology.

Central Connecticut State University, New Britain CT

• Several local students made the fall 2024 Dean’s List at Central Connecticut State University. • Wula Cham and Alexa Gladysz, both of Somers, and Drew Sagendorf of Ellington made the Dean's List at SCSU for the fall 2024 semester.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Grace Caso and Jason Webber, both of Ellington, and Cody Ferrero of Somers were named to the fall 2024 Dean's List. To qualify for this recognition, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better. They must also have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered during the term.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Ava Powell of Ellington was named to the University of Alabama Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Students were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 or above.

University of Mississippi, University MS

• Peyton Holden of Ellington was named to the University of Mississippi's fall 2024 Honor Roll lists. Holden, in the B.A. in psychology program, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
