Jessica was raised in Somers, and had a lifelong love for drawing, reading, listening to her favorite podcasts and spending time at the beach. A devoted animal lover, Jessica found peace and happiness in the presence of all creatures, great and small. She enjoyed collecting her pig figurines, loved her rum and cokes, and was a loyal General Hospital watcher. Jessica’s warmth extended to all who knew her—she never ended a phone call without saying, “I love you,” a small phrase that carried the full weight of her generous heart.

Margery (Clark) Morehardt, 94, wife of the late Robert C. Morehardt, passed away on May 26, 2025 in her Somers home. Margery was an alumna of the University of Massachusetts, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She implemented and was in charge of the Head Start Program for school children in West Virginia, touching countless lives with her kindness and forward thinking. She and Bob were world travelers. After she graduated from Northern Illinois University, they purchased and operated Techni Products machine shop in East Longmeadow, Mass., where Margery was vice president and eventually became CEO when her husband passed away. They provided machined components for numerous companies in the aerospace industry, and many were installed on the International Space Station and assisted astronauts in landing on the moon.
