State Grant Funding Troop C Improvements
Troop C will be a bit more powerful, thanks to a state grant.

TOLLAND, CT — State officials Thursday announced that $2.5 million in funding has been approved for generator replacements at several critical state facilities, including the State Police Troop C barracks in Tolland.
The funding will support upgraded backup power systems "to ensure continuity of operations during emergencies and severe weather events."
Said state Sen. Jeff Gordon, "These kinds of investments are a strong win for Tolland and the surrounding region. Ensuring Troop C has reliable backup power is critical for public safety and emergency response in northeastern Connecticut, and I’m pleased to see this funding move forward alongside important community investments."
