The injection and molding company will be holding the open house on Oct. 4.

Ellington-based manufacturing company Dymotek will be holding an open house next month to celebrate Manufacturing Day.
Visitors will be able tour the facility, learn about the manufacturing processes, see current job opportunities at Dymotek and "get an eye-opening look at the range of impact one manufacturing plant in Connecticut can make," the company said on its website.
"Students are especially encouraged to attend, in particular high school and college level," the company said.
Dymotek, located at 7 Main St. in Ellington, is an injection and silicone molding company which has developed parts for industrial, electronic, food and beverage and automotive industries. Two Ellington natives founded the company in 1990 and it now operates a 30,000 square-foot space and employs over 100 people.
"Dymotek understands the importance of manufacturing and is excited to take part in Manufacturing Day, an event that has been designed to expand knowledge about and improve the general perception of manufacturing careers," the company said in a news release.
Please note that long pants and close-toed shoes are mandatory attire for the tour.
