Ellington Farmers Market Closes Outdoor Season with Festive Finale
Costumed pets take center stage in the Halloween Pet Parade as the market prepares to move indoors for the winter season.

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Farmers Market will wrap up its outdoor season with a festive finale on Saturday, October 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at Market Park, 72 Maple Street. This final market promises fall fun for all, highlighted by the always-popular Halloween Pet Parade at 11 a.m.
Market-goers are invited to bring their costumed pets to strut their stuff on the green in this crowd-favorite event that’s sure to bring smiles and laughter. Prizes will be awarded for the top three entries and families are encouraged to join in the fun by dressing up as well.
Along with the parade, shoppers will find an abundance of fall produce, freshly baked goods, local meats, handcrafted gifts, and seasonal specialties perfect for autumn gatherings. Live music by Free Range Humans and a warm community atmosphere will make this closing market a celebration of another successful outdoor season.

After a short break, the Ellington Farmers Market will resume indoors on Saturday, November 22, at Ellington High School, continuing its mission to connect the community with local farmers, artisans, and food producers throughout the winter months.
