Ellington Historical Society Invites Community Participation in Annual Fall Festival
Businesses and organizations are invited to join a family-friendly tradition with activities for kids

The Ellington Historical Society is excited to announce its annual Fall Festival at the Nellie McKnight Museum, taking place on Saturday, September 27th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The festival has become a favorite seasonal tradition, bringing together families, friends, and neighbors to celebrate autumn in the heart of Ellington.
This year, the Historical Society is seeking local businesses, organizations, and community groups to take part in the event. Participants are encouraged to host a free activity, game, or craft for children, creating a family-friendly atmosphere where kids can enjoy hands-on fun while learning more about the wonderful community they live in.
“The Fall Festival is not only a celebration of the season, but also an opportunity for local organizations to connect with families and showcase the spirit of Ellington,” said a spokesperson for the Historical Society. “We welcome creative ideas and activities that will make the day memorable for children and enjoyable for the whole community.”
