Ellington To Host Annual Earth Day Celebration
70 vendors, live music, local foods, and free children's activities at the town green, Nellie McKnight Museum, and Hall Memorial Library
Ellington's annual Earth Day celebration will take place on Saturday, April 26th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the town green, Nellie McKnight Museum, and Hall Memorial Library. This vibrant community event features booths from over 70 local businesses, organizations, and environmental advocates, all promoting eco-friendly practices and sustainable living.
Attendees can enjoy live music, delicious local food, and various interactive activities for all ages. The day also offers opportunities to give back with clothing collections, household goods, and redeemable bottles and cans.
As part of the celebration, the Ellington Historical Society will unveil its 2025 exhibit, "Field of Dreams...Ellington's Sports History," which will be open to the public during the event at the Nellie McKnight Museum. The Hall Memorial Library will host a scavenger hunt, and participants will be entered to win a prize.
