Ellington Man Facing Sexual Assault Charges
The 77-year-old turned himself in on Wednesday.

A 77-year-old Ellington man is facing several charges after he surrendered himself to the Ellington Resident Trooper’s Office on Wednesday on four active arrest warrants issued by Rockville Superior Court.
James Waugh, of 110 Jobs Hill Rd., Apt. 5, was arrested and transported to Troop C in Tolland where he was processed according to state police policy.
He was charged with eight counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, eight counts of risk of injury to a child, two counts of impairing the morals of a child, and public indecency.

The victims were an 18-year-old female and a 14-year-old, 13-year-old, and 11-year-old juveniles.
Each of the four warrants included a $25,000 cash/surety bond for a total court set bond of $100,000.

Waugh was held on bond and was scheduled to appear on July 2.
