Ellington Ridge Country Club Golfer Playing in Travelers Championship

Manchester native Kyle Bilodeau is heading to the Traveler’s Championship, reports the Hartford Courant.

Bilodeau, 29, earned the automatic Connecticut Section PGA spot in the Travelers Championship by winning the Spring PGA Stroke Play last month.

Two years ago, he played in the tournament and had consecutive 77s to miss the cut.

Bilodeau is back working at Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington. He has also worked at Hop Meadow Country Club in Simsbury, Race Brook Country Club in Orange, and the Hartford Country Club.

Bilodeau played golf the last three years at East Catholic and then the first three years at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he majored in business management.
