ELLINGTON, CT — The latest installment of this periodic informative series on Patch sites in north-central Connecticut, providing facts and figures about some of the state roads which wind through the area, features the shortest route we have highlighted to date.
Route 286 begins at the junction of Route 74 at the Five Corners roundabout in southern Ellington, and ends at the intersection of Route 83. It is the first state route we have featured which is contained entirely in one town.
