SOMERS, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Julia is working on a COVID-19 floor at Yale New Haven Hospital that is dedicated to expectant mothers diagnosed with the virus.

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
Julia has never once complained about her work or dedicating herself to her patients. She is very determined and was eager to work in this specialized unit to help these patients in any way that she could.
