Hidden Gems Of Hartford And Tolland Counties

SOMERS, CT — The first Hidden Gem of 2025 takes us to a pink house that dates back to 1830 tucked in the back of a parcel in Somers.

It's Kassandra Herbs Unlimited.

The shop is located at 54 Springfield Road, and it's, well, a completely "eclectic shopping experience," according to the locals.

The store offers up hundreds of herbs and spices, hand-thrown pottery, suncatchers, cookbooks and many other interesting items.

Kassandra Herbs Unlimited was nominated as the Somers business of the month for November for its customer service, innovative products, and contribution to town projects.
