Keep CT-57 strong with Jaime Foster
A good legislator is hard to come by, let's build on the hard work Jaime Foster has done for CT-57.
I have lived in Ellington, Connecticut four years now and in my humble opinion, Ellington and the surrounding communities are a great place to live. As a Civil Engineer I see the world from a uniquely practical perspective. Where most people see a road, I see storm water management systems, lane and shoulder widths, retaining walls, grading plans, and the many details of civil works. Infrastructure systems in CT-57 (e.g., drinking water, wastewater management, electrical supply, transportation) perform impressively well. While our infrastructure systems certainly are not perfect, they are well maintained, well planned, and entirely adequate for our community's current and future needs.
I credit government leaders like State Legislator Jaime Foster for ensuring our community has the resilient infrastructure we need. Jaime Foster has been representing the 57th District of Connecticut for the past four years and let’s be honest, she’s good at it.
In just two terms, Representative Foster has made enormous strides to ensure a better quality of life for her constituents by securing funding for schools, making utility companies more accountable to rate payers, enhancing utility & infrastructure resilience, providing clean drinking water to properties with contaminated wells, introducing bi-partisan legislation, and so much more. I enjoy reading Jaime's regular editorial pieces in local papers describing the important work she is doing in Hartford and extending the invitation for anyone in her district to reach out, connect, and work with her to make Connecticut a better place to live.

As a parent I appreciate how Jaime is focused on protecting families and demonstrates respect for traditional values. Representative Foster’s excellent track record in the state legislature and bright future as a government leader make her the obvious choice to best represent the 57th District. For these reasons and many more, when I vote this week I will be selecting Jaime Foster as the better candidate.
