Dear Editor,

Re-elect Lisa Pellegrini for First Selectman in Somers. In the past four years Lisa has brought over $6,000,000 into Somers via grants to make Somers a more beautiful and functional town. That’s $6,000,000 that Somers citizens do not have to pony-up in taxes. Somers has never looked better.

Mrs. Pellegrini has directed us through 3 disasters. She’s highly motivated, a perfectionist and puts in the hours to accomplish what has been a stellar record during her tenure. You will frequently see her office lights on at 9 or 10 p.m.

Lisa has the personality and the professional presence to represent Somers well at the State as well as the Local level. She’s known and respected by her colleagues in other towns.

Most important, she has the experience and background needed to run a town of 10,000 with inherent political posturing, problems and challenges. In my dealings with her she has always considered what is best for Somers first and made decisions based on that.

Lisa Pellegrini is the only candidate running for First Selectman in Somers with the qualifications of experience, motivation, personality, leadership and professionalism, all required to make a successful First Selectman.

On November 5th I’m voting for Lisa Pellegrini, Kathy Devlin and Bill Salka for an experienced and dedicated Board of Selectmen.  I base my vote on what is best for Somers.

Betty K. Domer
