On June 6 at approximately 10:25 p.m., state police responded to Sun Valley Campground in Stafford for the report of an individual who had broken a vehicle window in the parking lot.

Upon arrival, police located two vehicles partially submerged in a pond. Through investigation, it was revealed that Branson, now listed at 19 Oakwood St. in Enfield, had pushed one vehicle into the bond and then drove his vehicle into the same location.
