Assumption University, Worcester MA

• Mallory Bartlett of Ellington, Class of 2026, has been named to the University's Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. Students named to the Dean's List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters.

Clark University, Worcester MA

• Emma N. Cheyney of Somers, was named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2023 semester.
  Students must have a GPA of 3.8 or above for first honors.

College of Our Lady of the Elms, Chicopee MA

• College of Our Lady of the Elms congratulates 75 students who graduated in December 2023 following the conclusion of the fall 2023 semester. William Jones of Ellington earned a bachelor of arts degree in marketing, and Concepcion Mendoza of Somers earned a master of science degree in biomedical science.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College congratulates William Karszes of Somers, who was named to the fall 2023 Dean's List.

Emerson College, Boston MA

• Emerson College student Ashley Maningas of Ellington was named to the College's Dean's List for the fall 2023 semester. Maningas is majoring in marketing communication and is a member of the Class of 2026. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

Goodwin University, East Hartford CT

• Emma Audet, Alyssa Girardini and Crystal Tracy, all of Ellington, and Alexandra Atkinson and Jennifer Fancher, both of Somers, made Goodwin University's President's List for the fall 2023 session. The list includes 367 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA.
• Olivia Catlett, Nicholas Gurau and Danielle Taylor, all of Ellington, and Paul Dumont of Somers were among 521 students who achieved Dean's List status for the fall 2023 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Eight local students were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. They are:

  • Nathan Caron of Ellington, who is in the game design and development program.

  • Phil Kalinowski of Somers, who is in the new media interactive development program.

Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Josh Wilkie, Class of 2026, of Ellington, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University for the fall 2023 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• The University of Saint Joseph has announced its fall 2023 Dean's List. Ellington students making the list were Morgan Beebe and Eben Holmes.
