Goodwin University, East Hartford CT
- Goodwin University's President's List for the spring 2024 session includes 291 students, all of whom scored a perfect 4.0 GPA. Among them were Ericka Cotto, Nicholas Gurau, Casey Noller and Crystal Tracy, all of Ellington, and Jennifer Fancher of Somers.
- Goodwin University announces 752 students achieved Dean's List status for the spring 2024 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify. Local honorees were Ellington residents Emma Audet, Olivia Catlett, Ericka Cotto, Nicholas Gurau, Rebecca Hayes, Casey Noller, Crystal Tracy, Alycia Williams and Lauren Wishneski, as well as Jennifer Fancher of Somers.

- Phillip Alaimo of Somers and Alex Repass of Ellington were named to the spring 2024 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

- Seton Hall University is pleased to announce Morgan Frye of Ellington has qualified for the spring 2024 Dean's List. After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than "C", qualify for the Dean's List.

- Zachary Killoran of Ellington was welcomed into Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society on April 19 at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony. Omicron Delta Kappa is a national leadership honor society that recognizes and encourages achievement in scholarship, athletics, campus or community service, social and religious activities, as well as campus government, journalism, speech and the mass media, and creative and performing arts. Killoran is working toward a degree in finance.
