College of the Holy Cross, Worcester MA
- Alexis Cantin and Katherine Santini, both of Ellington, were among more than 1,600 students named to the College of the Holy Cross' Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2023-24 academic year.

- More than 800 Eastern Connecticut State University students graduated in the 2023-24 academic year, which culminated with two commencement ceremonies this May at the conclusion of the spring 2023 semester. The University's undergraduate ceremony occurred May 14 at the XL Center in Hartford, CT, and the graduate-level ceremony occurred May 11 on Eastern's campus. Among the graduates were the following Ellington residents: Maria Dowd, Master of Science in elementary education; Cody Boulette, Bachelor of Science in communication; Nicholas Dannenfelser, Bachelor of Science in communication; Caroline Gray, Bachelor of Science in finance; Isabel Mund, Bachelor of Science in biology; Andrew Raymond, Bachelor of Arts in history; Ryder Remenik, Bachelor of Arts in history; Jack Soto, Bachelor of Science in accounting; and Kalagena Sullivan, Bachelor of Arts in social work. Also receiving a degree was Jonathan Bernier of Somers, Bachelor of Science in communication.
St. Lawrence University, Canton NY
- Rayna S. Bidwell of Ellington was among 433 students awarded a degree at St. Lawrence University's commencement ceremony on May 19 at Newell Field House in Canton, New York. Bidwell was awarded a degree in conservation biology.

- Six students from Ellington earned President's List honors for the spring 2024 semester. The President's List recognizes a select group of students reaching the highest level of academic standing. To be placed on the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of at least a 3.75 and receive grades of C or better. Local honorees were Carlie Bouchard, John Hintze, Natalie Kiessling, Zachary Longo, Claire McMenamin and Melissa Ryan.
- A dozen local residents earned spots on the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. They were Tamera Price, Will Denno, Dylan Gargiulo, Mira Houghtaling, Sydney Matz, Kareen Shreidi and Lindsey Wearne, all of Ellington, and Somers residents Trent Beggs, Amit Deonarine, Hanna Grace, Tristan Hogan and Alexandra McLellan. The Dean's List recognizes students achieving superior academic standing. The requirement, with some exceptions based on school or college, is a grade point average of at least 3.0 and no grade below C.
University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT
- USJ has announced the undergraduate students who earned their way to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester. Students from Ellington making the list are Khang Dang and Andrew Parisi. Students were awarded this academic achievement for having earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B."
