Parachutist Dies After Hard Landing In Ellington

ELLINGTON, CT — A parachutist who suffered a hard landing in Ellington has died, according to a report in WTNH. Lifestar was called to the scene in the area of the parachute drop zone in Ellington Airport Sunday morning.

WTNH reports that the man, identified as 62-year-old James Hansmann of Springfield, Massachusetts, was taken to Hartford Hospital where he died.
