Car maintenance is expensive, so it's comforting to know that there's a business you can rfely on for auto repair. That business is People's Auto, at 23 Field Road in Somers. And they are the Somers Business of the Month for August. Peopl;e's Auto was nominated for the award based on their superior customer service and technological advancement. The award was presented to owners Dave and Frank Doyker by Somers First Selectman Tim Keeney.
Patrons from any community can nominate a Somers business for the award based on such criteria as superior customer service, innovative products or services, professional staff development, donating to a town project, sponsoring a youth project, or longevity in business. Sponsored by the Economic Development Commission, the award is presented monthly.
