A segment of the busy roadway will be closed until early evening, according to estimates from town officials.
ELLINGTON, CT — A segment of Route 83 is closed early Thursday afternoon due to a motor vehicle mishap involving a propane delivery truck. The affected area runs from Main to Maple streets.
Town officials posted notification about the closure on its social media pages. At 4:45 p.m., an update indicated the road would remain closed for about another hour.
