SMYTH’S, IN ADDITION TO FINE AUTO BODY WORK, ALSO DOES FOREIGN AUTO REPAIR, BRAKE SERVICE, AND STEERING, SHOCK AND SUSPENSION REPAIR. SMYTH’S IS ONE OF THE OLDEST BUSINESSES IN SOMERS AND WAS NOMINATED FOR THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CONTRIBUTION TO TOWN PROJECTS. THE AWARD WAS PRESENTED TO OWNERS BOB AND STEVE SMYTH BY SOMERS FIRST SELECTMAN TIM KEENEY.
Patrons from any community can nominate a Somers business for the award based on such criteria as superior customer service, innovative products or services, professional staff development, donating money to a town project, sponsoring a youth project, or longevity in business. Sponsored by the Economic Development Commission, the award is presented monthly.
