Excellence in home furnishings is the perfect blend of attractiveness and functionality. That perfect storm describes Budget Blinds, which is the Somers Business of the Month for December. Budget Blinds, which is located at 21 South Road, was nominated by their patrons for their innovative products and their excellent customer service. The award was presented to owner Laurie Mongillo by Somers First Selectman Tim Keeney.
Patrons from any community can nominate a Somers business for the award based on such criteria as superior customer service, innovative products or services, professional staff development, donating money to a town project, sponsoring a youth project, or longevity in business. Sponsored by the Economic Development Commission, the award is presented monthly.
