Somers Election Results 2025: Board Of Selectmen Set, But All Eyes On Ballot Questions
Somers residents cast their ballots for several key local races on Election Day. Here are the latest results.

SOMERS, CT — One thing is for certain with the 2025 municipal election in Somers — Republican Tim Keeney is back in as first selectman as he ran unopposed.
The full Board of Selectmen was essentially set as well with the first votes cast for each candidate with Republican William Meier and Democrat Robert Schmidt rounding out the race. Meier said he was glad for all the congratulatory messages, but also knows the ballot questions are just as important.
"The the ballot questions could represent a turning point in town in terms of what municipal government will look like for another generation," Meier said.

The questions address, among other issues, the hiring of a chief executive.
Residents were eagerly awaiting the results. As of 1 a.m. Wednesday, they were not posted on the Secretary of the State's website.
