ELLINGTON, CT — Last week, we asked readers to weigh in on the best use of some vacant commercial space in the Big Y Plaza on Route 83. The spot is situated between Liquor World and Big Y World Class Market. The most recent tenant was Dollar Tree.
Many responders offered specific chains as potential tenants, including Stew Leonard's, Pizza Hut, Tractor Supply, Planet Fitness, Michael's, Pet Smart, Trader Joe's and Between Rounds.
Other readers were more general, suggesting a real Italian restaurant, a boutique, a needlework store, a pet shop and a bowling alley.
