Family: I believe that Enfield is an excellent place to raise a family. That’s why my partner, Amanda, and I chose to raise our daughter, Abigail, here.
She recently graduated from the Enfield High School Class of 2025. During her time there, she was part of the EHS Lamplighters theater program, which gave me an incredible opportunity to support and stay involved in the arts.
In addition to my daughter, I have two young nephews who also attend Enfield schools — one is a middle schooler at JFK, and the other just started fifth-grade at Prudence Crandall Elementary.
I wholeheartedly believe that investing time and energy into our schools is one of the best ways to ensure that Enfield remains a place where future generations will want to live, learn, and thrive.
Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? No
Previous public office, appointive or elective:
While I may not have held public office before, I’m more than ready to serve.
Incumbents often have name recognition, but what Enfield needs right now is a fresh perspective- someone who listens, asks questions, and brings new ideas to the table. We can’t keep doing the same thing and expect change.
It’s time for me to step forward, work hard for this community, and help shape a stronger, more connected Enfield.
Why are you seeking this office?
I’m running for office because I believe Enfield thrives when we focus on education, community, and transparency.
I want to see kindness and honesty brought back into our local government- values that once made Enfield a place people were proud to call home.
For me, it’s about supporting both our older and younger generations, maintaining our parks, uplifting local businesses, and keeping our town events and restaurants vibrant.
When we work together, listen to one another, and lead with transparency and respect, Enfield becomes not just where we live, but where we truly belong.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is the lack of transparency and accountability in how town funds are being spent.
Residents deserve to know where their tax dollars are going and how decisions are being made on their behalf.
This is what I intend to do about it: As an elected official, I will work to make the budgeting process open and easy to understand for all residents.
That means posting clear and accessible budget summaries online, and asking the tough questions to ensure spending reflects our community’s priorities.
I’ll also advocate for better communication between the Town Council and residents, so people feel informed, included, and confident that their local government is working for them, not behind closed doors.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The major differences between me and the other candidates are simple: I bring a fresh perspective, a commitment to transparency, and an honest approach to leadership.
I’m not interested in playing political games. I’m interested in doing what’s right for Enfield.
I believe residents deserve to know exactly where their money is going.
That means creating a clear and honest budget from the start and not moving funds around after the fact to make numbers look better than they are.
I’ll be upfront about every financial decision and ensure taxpayers can easily see how their dollars are being spent.
Enfield deserves honesty, accountability, and a new voice ready to serve, and that’s what I bring to the table.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
Other issues I intend to address during my campaign include strengthening our schools, rebuilding our sense of community, and increasing transparency from our elected officials.
I believe that when we focus on education, connection, and honesty in local government, Enfield becomes a place we can all be proud to call home.
I also want to make sure we’re supporting both our older and younger generations, investing in our schools, maintaining safe and welcoming parks, and creating spaces where families and neighbors can come together.
By uplifting our local businesses, celebrating our town events, and supporting the restaurants and places that make Enfield unique, we can keep our community strong, vibrant, and connected.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?
In the past, I’ve always focused on building community and making Enfield a welcoming, affordable place to live.
I’ve been actively involved in local activities that bring people together.
For example, I served as the assistant coach for my daughter’s fourth- and fifth-grade recreational soccer team and even stepped in as interim head coach for a season in 2017-18.
Since 2021, my home has become a gathering place for neighbors of all ages on Halloween, where friends, families, and the community come together to share laughs, trade candy, and celebrate our town.
These experiences show my commitment to fostering connection, engagement, and collaboration, skills I’ll bring to serving Enfield as an elected official.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I’ve ever been given is to always lead with kindness and integrity, no matter the situation.
People will remember how you made them feel and whether they could trust you.
That advice has guided me in my personal life, in my work with neighbors and family, and it’s the same approach I plan to bring to public service — being honest, transparent, and genuinely caring about the people I serve.
