Why are you seeking this office?
I am seeking office because I am passionate about the town of Enfield.
This community is my home, and I have always cared about the people who make Enfield the place we know and love.
I have always worked diligently for positive changes that are now visible in Enfield.
I will continue to seek improvement in investing and developing the economy through economic development.
I will focus on education, support our seniors, veterans, advocate for our police, EMS, fix our budget, lower costs for families, and invest in our neighborhoods.
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: Responsible budgeting and appropriate economic development.
I plan on working on the budget in advance to prioritize the needs of our residents and our town and not redirect funds for partisan interests.
Plan for a budget and adjust to emergencies. We need to increase our commercial tax base and grand list to ease the burden on our taxpayers.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am an active listener and not a reactionary decision maker.
I believe in communication and believe in bipartisan decisions. I make myself visible to the community at all times and attend local functions consistently.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I will continue to be an advocate for our education. We need to bring back teaching and support positions, programs, courses, and sports that are vital for our children.
We need to support our seniors. We need to bring back the senior volunteer tax credit program and the senior minor home repair program.
We need to support our veterans. We need activities for our children. I am concerned about mental health issues and the homeless.
I will work tirelessly for public safety, our police department, and emergency medical service,s and give the support needed to keep us safe.
We need to support our non-profits and continue to fund all. I will also initiate talks for housing for the homeless and get rid of the panhandling signs.
We need to help those in need. I will work to lower costs for families and invest in our neighborhoods.
There has to be a respectful conversation among everyone. Every good decision saves our town.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?
My record for the past eight years proves I can handle this job.
Some of my accomplishments are as follows: member of the Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame, member of the Windsor Locks Athletic Hall of Fame, recipient of the Connecticut Sports Media Alliance John Wentworth Good Sport Award, active in Connecticut Special Olympics, active in our Enfield Allied Stars athletic program, owner of Cressotti Baseball School, former Mayor of Enfield, retired teacher and coach of 38 years in the Enfield school system. I look forward to serving the town of Enfield.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
If you plan on doing something, do it right.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am currently a member of the Pre Referendum Committee for the Elementary Schools, Pre K-5, and Eagle Academy. I was also the co-chair of the Charter Review Commission and a member of the Commission on Aging.
I currently teach all the math classes at the Enfield Alternative High School.
